Our Story
The Chinese character 度 means measure — the precise, almost invisible margin between a garment and a body, judged by hand. 度·BESPOKE (The Bespoke Atelier) was founded in Shenzhen by Peter Pei and is a chairmember studio of the Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association. We do one thing for men and women: bespoke tailoring that returns the garment to the person.
Founder
Peter Pei comes from brand operations and industry, with more than 25 years in the apparel business — what he brings is brand method, not a tailor's hand. He served as Chief Operating Officer of China Lilang (SEHK: 01234), the first Chinese menswear house listed on the Hong Kong main board, where he pioneered China's business-casual apparel category.
Association
More than a plaque: chair membership places 度·BESPOKE at the centre of Shenzhen's design circle, and opens doors that are usually closed to the public.

One-to-one sessions with designers — from fabric trends to occasion dressing, on your specific questions.
Right of first refusal on scarce, limited-run fabrics. When a cloth runs short, you see it first.
Mission & Vision
Our mission: to help Chinese entrepreneurs present themselves with international style. Our vision: to create apparel brands that Chinese people worldwide can hold in respect.
To help Chinese entrepreneurs present themselves with international style — starting with a well-made suit. An entrepreneur's appearance is the most direct business card of the company: through one-pattern-one-person bespoke tailoring, we help them look the part in any room in the world.
To create apparel brands that Chinese people worldwide can hold in respect — starting from Shenzhen, turning craft, cloth and a sense of proportion into a standard recognised by the world, so that Chinese bespoke becomes synonymous with quality and taste.
The Atelier
度: drawn from the essence of Chinese culture, it embodies the Chinese philosophy of Dao Fa Zi Ran — following the way of nature. It stresses harmony between people and nature, and between people and society, and holds to the principle of acting with measure.
度: a meeting of Eastern wisdom and art, expressing a distinctly Eastern humanistic grace and a way of living that balances strength with softness.
Two Brands
Within Jimeihui Group, 度·BESPOKE and BHAMMA keep deliberately different jobs: Du makes bespoke — one pattern per person, by appointment, priced by cloth and craft; BHAMMA makes premium ready-to-wear — in stock, in sizes, clearly priced. Neither does the other's job, so each can be done properly.
| 度·BESPOKE | BHAMMA | |
